PADRE ISLAND | PART 2

MALAQUITE BEACH

It's was a hot day when we decided to head to the beach. We didn't make it there until almost 11:00a.m. ; a late start for a summer day on the beach. Even so, we managed to find a secluded spot away from the crowd, tucked away between some dunes. We spent an entire 7 hours at the beach that day. You'd be surprised how fast time seems to fly when you are actually having fun.

There's no shortage of wildlife here. Unafraid of the human traffic that comes and goes. To get this close to such a large animal and it politely walk away from you; to admire from a distance yet be close enough to appreciate it's significance; one can appreciate the beauty of it if you just focus on the gift of it all.
